The Thong Pong Primary School built by REEC has made a life-changing impact, giving
children aged 3 to 5 the opportunity to start their education from an early age in a safe and nurturing environment.
Currently, the kindergarten has 33 children enrolled, including 14
girls, all of whom are now enjoying their first steps into education.
We were also able to connect electricity and install fans throughout the school.
With summer temperatures reaching up to 42 degrees, the fans have made
a significant difference, helping the children stay comfortable and focused on learning.
Additionally, we were honored to distribute the beautiful T-shirts
donated by PrintX to the children. These T-shirts were shared with 16 kindergartens,
bringing joy and excitement to hundreds of children across the region.

REEC continues to provide essential educational resources, including books, pens, paper, and other materials, ensuring the children have everything they need to learn and thrive.
The teachers and community are overjoyed to see their little ones attending school every day. The children often return home eager to share the new things they’ve learned, which brings pride and hope to their families.
This project has been so successful that REEC is committed to continuing this
important work, both at Thong Pong and in many other rural kindergartens that
still need support. However, we are currently facing funding challenges. We would greatly appreciate any support and help in sharing our mission to raise the necessary funds for
more schools in rural Cambodia.
